Spam emails

I wasn't too pleased to receive an email from someone called "Amanda" advertising a website promoting Pamporovo. She said the website is owned by the tourist and information centre. She had emailed me via a post I had made on this forum which was mothing to do with Pamporovo. This is blatant spamming. If others with things to advertise eg property owners, local businesses etc did this, we would be inundated.

re: Spam emails

Unfortunately - that's the world we live in today. To buy or enquire about most things on the net requires you to add your email address and the spam then begins to flow. Probably like most of you, I get about a dozen emails a day that I just delete without even opening them.

I am certainly not defending anybody for sending you mail that you did not want - but provided it does not carry a virus, is it not easy to just simply delete it and move on? Confused

Again I will echo the comments of ...

Again I will echo the comments of others. The email box under you name is not manditory, so if you do not want anybody having access to your address - then just leave the box empty.
