I took a school party to St Anton, the ski is fantastic, but the prices are so expensive.re: St Anton
Its one of the finest resorts in Europe, if not the world. I'm going in Feb. It obviously costs more than Bansko, but has something like 200 pistes and a whole bunch of trails and off piste. Fantastic apres ski as well

im staying in a little village called Stuben inbetween St Anton and Zurs easy access and all in the same lift pass and apperently alot cheaper..

Mat is right, Anton is hot....Many years ago kipped down in the railway station waiting room (with about 20 others
) for a couple of nights before finding relatively cheap accom in St Christoff up the valley...I dunno if it still will be there but check out the `Crazy Kangaroo' especially around lunchtime, nutty guys going off the roof and over the terrace.... just for beer

The crazy kangaroo is a bit passe - the funky chicken is the place to be and for the sheer hell of German techno on ice - the Moosevert. Most people stop skiing at 2 to start drinking.re: St Anton
