Just locals Val. I have a guide book from the 90's which say's that Vitosha is the largest ski resort in Bulgaria. Could be one to keep an eye on.re: Standart news
Seems strange then that if it was the largest in the 90's why it has not been expanded sooner particularly as it is so close to Sofia. Instead much money has gone into Bansko which is much further away.

Cheap flights you say Fraser? I think we should set up our own airline! If that 18yr old lad can do is so can we!Run it out of Luton direct to Sofia and Plovdiv in the winter sure to be a winner. Now how do you charter a Boeing 737?

funny you should say that i once financed two MD8 to a defunct airline out of Bristol, trouble with running the plane is the size of bond youve got to lodge with caa and also for destination airport for boring things like fuel and landing. If youre going from luton use wizzair its only £60 return, via budapest.Im sure Easyjet will be doing something once the new terminal at Sofia is finished, just hope it goes from Bristol!!!!!!!!!!!!!
