I've booked the Ski Saver package at the Borovets resort through Inghams.
I wondering if I could exchange between boarding and ski equipment throughout my week stay. I've paid upfront for the rental, and I think its the same price.
I've done this plenty of times, although not with that provider. I'm sure they will swap at the rental shop if you ask, and pay the price difference (if there is one - SBs tend to be slightly more).
Are you an experienced boarder though? Most people I know that can ski that "give a board a try for a day" hate it - because they go back to being an absolute beginner. They feel like they don't want to waste their valuable holiday time ...
I think he's referring to snowboarding in general

Are you an experienced boarder though? Most people I know that can ski that "give a board a try for a day" hate it - because they go back to being an absolute beginner. They feel like they don't want to waste their valuable holiday time falling over when they could be enjoying the mountain on skis, and invariably swap back.
This is nothing against boarding - I'm a boarder (mainly) it's just the going back to being a beginner people don't like. It would be the same if switching the other way, if skiing wasn't so damn easy!
If you know what you're doing on a board then sorry for the irrelevant advice, and I can't see you having trouble swapping. But if not then I would either stick to skiing for the trip, or commit to learning to snowboard properly and do it from the start, with lessons!
Bobby did a snow board taster session for me at Christmas and actually had me boarding from the top of the nursery slope (where the ad banner is) all the way down to Ice Angels in just over an hour. (no it didn't take me an hour to get from top to bottom lol) Good fun but wouldn't want to spend the whole week mastering a new skill when i could spend the week improving skiing style and technique. That said might be tempted to ask Bobby for another lesson when out at the end of Feb and see if ...
