Really warmed the cockles of our hearts, so many friendly comments after our break-in. (No offers to replace the items though 
)
2 more houses close by were attacked today, and a builder has given the Police descriptions of 2 youths who he say near our house at the time of the break-in who he thought were up to no good.
Been fitting more locks today and the alarm will be set from now on.
BIG, BIG THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT, and no, NOTHING is gonna spoil my holiday, ...

im glad you are gonna enjoy your holiday inspite of the resent upset and heartbreak. ive been reading this site since xmas and and you have helped me and lots of others, its a horrible thing to happen but let hope with the other houses that have also been broken into that they catch them, and maybe one day the little pr*cks that done this horrible thing , it happens to them , all their stuff that they have worked hard for goes in one swipe and then maybe they will ...

Hi Pete, or is it Mr Locksmith!!Glad you guys are starting to get back to normal (whatever that is!!) and that this sh*t thing is not going to ruin your hols.
I did have a whip round on this site for a new DVD player for you, but only seemed to get as far as 'D' !!!
Ah well, I'd better get off to work, am in London today (Right in the middle - Regent St etc, what a bugger) so won't be back till later.

Sorry to hear about you bad news Pete. I had my car and garage broken into late last year and it really does pee you off to say the least.Thanks for all your advice over this site and hope you have a wicked holiday in Pamps. Were off to Boro on the 31st so bottoms up

I'm in W12, but being in the Beeb, am often in W1 - used to be based off Euston Road, junction with Cleveland Street - spent many a lunchtime in that new M&S on TCRre: THANKS FROM PETE AND ANGE

although thats not as bad as a house.Hope they catch them.
I'm gonna buy some dobermans / rottweilers when I get a home so they can chew on any blighter than comes onto my property!

Ah yes, quick sandwich, stroll up the road and gaze through the window of Heals dreaming of the day I can afford to deck my house out exactly like their window display..... hmmmmmm. Oh well, there's always the lottery!!!! Well, I reckon if people are up for a beer (or a coke in your case) then we should try and organise it at some stage.
