THE MEET - NEW VENUE FOR MEAL BOOKED!!

With a big THANK-YOU to Alan I have now managed to book a new venue for the Meet meal.
It will now be at The Silk Kite Inn which is a Wetherspoon pub and therefore should be good value for money. I have pre-booked a table for 24 people but they say they can fit in 30 if required. Table is booked for 7.30pm Saturday 28th April.
The address is as follows.

I have paid a deposit to secure the table so this is now a firm booking. ...

I also told them Boon was coming so they have doubled their weekly booze order.
Again many thanks to Alan for supplying the restaurant options to me.

Brilliant Well done!So is this a taxi ride from the premier inn Tamworth central? Any taxi firms locally that do large vehicles - 8 or 9 seaters?

It's an almost def no for me and the little man I'm afraid as he most def not allowed to ski and not keen to come if he misses out on skiing
Also have you checked with Wetherspoons about the kids as all my local ones state kids have to leave at 8 or 9 ....... I have left my booking at the premier in case he changes his mind and will just hope they can squeeze two littluns onto your big booking. If we don't make it hope you all have a fab time and have a drink or two for me ...

If you're not booked till 7.30 will it not be a rush to be out by 9 ??? Sorry to dampen everyone's party but the last thing you need is rushing a meal etc
