We have booked through ebookers and are flying with Bulgaria Air. This is the first time I will be travelling with ski's. Has anybody taken ski's with Bulgaria Air before. I didn't have my ski's when I booked and now am wondering how much they will charge. has anybody got experience of taking ski's with Bulgaria Air? Do I need to phone them to let them know and pay in advance etc
always take my skis, most carriers charge £15,if you wish to add them to your holiday now they will prolly charge you admin fee possibly as much as £15,oyjer than that you can take em and pay at airport usually £20 as long as the aircraft has room
Bulgaria air do not charge!!! we fly with them on 27th Dec
you are allowed one item per person, so i believe, i have checked this with them quite a few times.
bulgaria air use russian aircrafts...........beware...google the make of the plane you will be travelling in, you get some scary results with russian planes.
Took the ol' Tupelov to Plovdiv myself a few years back with Balkan...it was funnnnn!!! Never experienced a flight like in my life ....but the staff were THE BEST!!!
you may have to phone balkan up and tell them you want to take your skis i flew with them two years ago and had to put a request in to take my board so it was recorded on our ticket, saying that we had no problems on the way but on the way back our gear along with about 10 others had been left in sofia got them back a month later
