Hi all..

Jess at kindergarten, work done, thought we would nip out and have some lunch... Dropped in to see our friends at `Pirin Snow' ski shop and make sure all was ok with the guests we had sent up, then walked across to the `Friends' pub. Sat and drank a large beer, and ordered a fillet steak for both of us, with all the trimmings..... I have to admit (and we are not on commission) it was absolutely wonderful, the knife just falling through it, juicy and very tasty. I am not a fan normally of steak in BG, but this was exceptional...
Hats off to Evo and the guys and gals, the price is right (24lv for the meal) and the service is impeccable... 2nd season that they are maintaining these standards, others around them should take a note

Hi Steve, first time posting on here. I'm flying out Monday morning with mixed group of 10 people. We're staying in Royal Bansko Towers.
This will be my third year running now in Bansko, but cannot place this 'Friends' bar. As I'm quite partial to a nice steak meal, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction to it's location. Let's use the Gondola station as a reference point, as I'm still not sure where my hotel is exactly.

Also, any other recommendations to nice bars/clubs/restaurants etc would be much appreciated.

from the Bansko Towers....
Go over the bridge where the road is towards traffic lights. Go straight over the traffic lights and it is about 100yards on the right under the fortuna apartments. Friendly Bar!! Draught beer 2.99lv and great prices on other drinks and food......The steaks are proper english steak thats why they are so good. You will go past the new Amigo's on the right and its just after that.
Tell them Steve and Wendy sent you you may get a free drink or bit of discount(no promises on that though0.

Axemans new restaurant is further down from there opposite the Dumonov Hotel. He has a good menu and great prices. The Irish Pub turn left at the Dumonov and is about 300yards down on the left. good value prices for beer etc etc. Happy hour a pint is about 2lv.

Theres a new bar opposite the Lion as you go down Pirin Street on the corner where the furniture shop was. Nice little bar good music and good deals etc. Its called Pirin 75.

Oxygen nightclub is at the bottom of town near the square. Our friends run that too mention our names again you may get discount.

If you are after any ski hire go into Pirin snow opposite the Kempinski, small little shop but great service and great prices. Again mention Steve and Wendy sent you and they will give you discount on anything you hire.
