Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Just finished having a look at the Summer board or should ti now be The moaning monster raving looney Board? Pete what can I say mate I cannot blame you for giving up what a bunch of ......!

It would seem that they now have a nice topic going about all the nasty things that us Brits may or may not have done to Bulgaria in the past. Oh my god these folks have lost it. This is a site to promote and chat about the pros and cons of Bulgaria NOT A POLITICAL statement. Yes I accept that people may not like the place and have the right to say so, but they have just lost it on the dark side.

Let us hope that us skiers and boarders can rise above such childish tosh and keep this board the fun and informative place that it is.

For anyone who may lurk and are not sure to post or not please feel free to join us as long as you dont mind some gentle mickey taking you will fit in!

Not posted very often on here before, however, I always read it during my lunch hour as the banter between the regulars is amusing. Just read some of the pointless comments on the 'Dark Side'. Doesn't have the same effect!
Went to Borovets last year, had a great time (first time skiing), the help on this board contributed a long way towards my enjoyment (even though I did post something and had my leg very gently pulled!!) Feel sorry for Pamps Pete (or Sunny Beach Pete), he does a great job, stick to this board, as it hasn't been taken over by morons (well Daniel Snell apart!) keep up the 'mickey taking' and helping more people discover the delights of Bulgaria.

Having just got back from a week in Elenite, I would now like to have the word British removed from my passport because I am so embarassed by my fellow country men and their ignorant behaviour. We go on about the Americans lacking wordly knowledge and Germans being arrogant, but we hold the prize for being the most loutish and complaining. No wonder the Ossies call us whingers!

That aside, we loved Bulgaria and Bulgarians and have booked to go ski-ing in Pamps next year after reading loads of the helpful comments on this site booked with Balkan Airways, so looking forward to a flight on a Tupolev Honest! Just as long as its not full of people wearing shell suits like the flight to Bourgas

i agree that this board is much more friendly and you all seem like you know how to have a laugh , which is something definatly lacking on the summer board its good to see a bit of banter. if its okay i would like to chat to you guys from time to time so to make me feel at home how about someone gives me a nickname, here is some info about me see what you can come up with.
