Hi Pete, it was nice to meet you.
The reason for the wall not being groomed was there is a european cup slalom competition happening soon so they wanted to leave it until nearer the time, or so our instructor told us. Confused
We also had a great weeks skiing, rounding off each day with a drink in the Markony, where we were made to feel very welcome. Still not convinced you ski since only ever saw you with a drink or cigarette in your hand Exclamation Wink Booze

Hi Phil,
Slopes were fairly quiet and no lift queues to talk about.
Got a bit busier up the mountain as the week went on with beginners finding their feet.We only went up the main resort once to visit friends in the White Hart. About 50 people in there so not heaving.

We ate every day in Peters Bar - Jenny looked after us brilliantly and it was always busy in there. From what others were saying who had eaten elsewhere, it was the best and cheapest place to eat anywhere on the mountain ...

Hi Pete,

Yes, is that the dog chained up near the new building work? A so called guard dog. Glad you are going to take care of it. The kids hated seeing it out in the pouring snow.

Cheers!

That's the one HappyskierUK.

We will do everything we can to get her Confused
Pete Todokov who owns the White Dog Bar is meeting with the owner tomorrow. Pete is a huge dog lover too and I have faith in him to do whatever he can to sort it.

Cool

re: The Dreaded I'M BACK Post

It always makes me sad to see the animals over there. When we went to Romania there were packs of dogs roaming around a lot worse than you see in BG. Also a bloke walking around with a bear cub asking people if they wanted photos. God knows what would become of the poor thing or where its mother was. Hope you manage to sort something out for the poor dog - unfortunately though they may just find another one to take its place. Its not just other countries either, my next door neighbours ...

Its not just other countries either, my next door neighbours keep a "guard" dog - it's not chained up but spends its whole life in a small fenced off area, never walked and not loved. Breaks my heart and RSPCA won't do anything - I don't speak to them anymore it's so unneccessary! Let us all know how you get on!

Bravo Pete,

I know that the procedure now is much easier to take a dog back to the UK.
