re: The Perelik Project
I was going to put my own april fool up this morning that:
Balkan holidays had anounced that they would no longer be flying from the UK due to disappointing reviews on the Bulgaria Ski.com discussion board.
But thought that might cause a bigger riot then the G20....

re: The Perelik Project
It was the words bank and investment in the same sentence that made the alarm bells ring.

Also, Arron has recently posted the news about the new Snowboard Park in Pamporovo as follow:
"I have been informed that there may be a new snowboard park on the run down towards Studenets 1. I spent time with the developer whilst there and also gave ideas but my knowledge of ramp building is small so any info would be appreciated and I can forward this to the developers.
It will be a permanent fixture made from earth rather than just snow to attract summer mountain board users, bmx and mountain bikers too. It should also be floodlit to allow snowboarders and (ahem) skiers the opportunity to use during the evening.
The location is very good and will be accessed by the run down from Mid station but riders/ skiers will be able to use the new drag lift that will be put in place. It won't be a massive park, maybe 100m tops but should include different size kickers, rails and boxes etc. It was also mentioned an old VW may be placed there to jump and abuse! It wont take up any of the piste up as it will run along side only.
There will be a large pool made where the stream is too with a BBQ area. This will allow fishing in the summer and the chance to cook what you catch whilst watching nutters throw themselves over 5m ramps""
