Bulgaria Ski discussion board

There are 2 very nice restaurants just out of the village approaching ski station 1. The one on the left is called the White House and the other one is directly opposite. Both are very good but like all restaurants in Pamps – expensive. The alternative is to go in to Chepelare where the food is half (or less) the price and there are some fantastic authentic Bulgarian restaurants and cafes. Just watch out for the Taxi fares – either arrange a price or get a private hire to take you there and back.

Barbeque restaurant at Mourgavets - excellent and very good value, great entertainment with really good musicians - the guy on the violin is amazing, followed by traditional Bulgarian entertainment - walking across hot coals

The Old House - Great food, great music and good atmosphere

Snezhanka Mehana - wonderful - great value and really made to feel like old friends

The Belfry (Chanove 2) - gave it another chance after a poor evening last year. This year service appalling - husbands meal arrived 40 minutes after mine - various other problems - would not go back (however charming the guy on the door is - he's lovely and not to blame but the place needs sorting out)
