Thanks for the information, I will certainly try to get over to Chepelare at some stage whilst in pamps. Someone I spoke to who was out at pamps last year told me that at the bottom of the new six man ski lift their is a small village, do you know the name of it?

Stoykite is the place! Just a couple of bars but a beautiful place in the summer!!!

Follow road signs for Shiroka Luka and you'll get there 1st!

I was in there on New Years Eve - Its very clean and lovely and warm AND the food and drink prices are excellent - please go and give it a try!!!!!

Just a thought but it seems to me that the White Dog being where it is has the potential to be like the Markony used to be a few years ago where 'everyone' (or nearly), including the ski instructors went after skiing at the end of the day and before returning to thier respective hotels by bus (some even stayed on and went back by taxi). It only needs a few to get it going and to spread the word!!!!!!!

Where abouts on the mountain is the Markony? whenever I have been to pamps the instructor brought us to the same place at the top of the mountain not far from that big tower...would like to give it a try when im out this year.

Markony is down at ski centre 2, almost at the bottom of the main green run - as you approach the one man chair lift, look over to the right and you will see it, with Interski underneath.

Thanks, I will be looking to give that a go at the end of a long day on the slopes...from what i read on hear it seems to be a good spot to retreat to on the mountain, I guess they serve food as well?
