For those of you who know Pete Todorov from Interski in Pamporovo you may like to know that he and his English wife Andrea are now running the White Dog bar just at the top of the slopes as you enter Malina 2 (opposite the Markony.)
Pete is a great bloke and a real friend to all, (I spent Xmas Day with them 3 years ago!) as well as being one of the best skiers in all of Bulgaria.
If you get the chance, pop in and say hi to them and share a beer or two.

Yeah - best of luck to them with this venture. I can't wait to try it, their hospitality is legendary and that's at the ski hire so I'm sure the White Dog will be a great sucess.
If anyone recommends a bar or a hotel or a restaurant you will perhaps have noticed that it is never challenged or deleted, in fact it is actually encouraged.

How far is Chepelare from pamps and how much would a taxi cost? Also, would it be worth the trip for bars etc at night just as an alternative to the ones pamps.
Chepelare is about 12km from Pamporovo and great if you want a day out skiing or boarding the excellent blacks/reds from top to bottom. We try and do at least 1 day there every year. There is also a blue that winds around the mountain but it is easy to get lost on this and I would only advise doing it with a guide if you've not skied it before.

Not sure about taxi prices as I've not been yet this year.
