the avalon hotel has a quiet bar where it's 1.50leva/pint

Sir Galahad (a new bar 5 mins from Gondola) is prety nice, I think it's 2 Leva and they do food as well

if you go the the happy end (bottom of gondola) prepare to be ripped off as the beers are generally 0.4litres, not the half you are expecting, although its still WAY cheaper than France etc!!
