The forecasts for the mid future period (1-10 April) and the now conditions, tell me that the snow is leaving us very very fast...If the forecasts are true, and the current conditions continue, I think, that for Easter we will be able to make a green holiday on our winter resorts...except the highest places (above 2200-2300 m)...I`m really sorry....but From Christmas to 10th April with a perfect snow conditions, I think that is a success for one of the southest winter resorts in Europe...Otherwise, from Easter don`t forget to movie to the coast...The summer season became from Easter...It will be above 22 degreece in Sunny Beach and Golden Sands next week....enjoy the sun and become to forget the snow for a half an year...:}

Well...to Elie and Sam...I am now a student in Sofian University, and I study Geography and I`m learning heardly about the climatology, but I don`t know whether I will choose this for my future...may be only a hoby...But I have red a lot of books for climate, believe and I`m interested in this science from 5 years old..;} I have one award for that from the biggest national TV channel from the Weather Office of it, and I was a guest to their TV programme....I love the nature sciencies, but I will continue with social-economic geography I think...But definitely I`m not an accidental person who only loves the weather...it is too my study direction and my really true love...I have a proffesor of climatology in my family who works in the Bulgarian Academy of Science...oh...that`s enough I thnik...
Well...I was miss you...And you too...But...from Christmas to now...There was a big problems with the weather....above 3 months a perfect snow conditions in our resorts...but the winter was colder and wetter than normal and it is normal to have warmer April than normal...But, all the forecasts above 7-10 days are not serios...the spring weather on the Balkans is very unpredictable.....Only the facts, now: Temps will continue to rising up and accordingly the snow will be eat from them very fast...the pick will be in the mid of the Week..than a small cool wave...but only the small...(the snow will melting just slowly, but the melting will continue)...the Forecast for the next week...I dont want still to give you cause it will be very serios...however it is for the same temps at this moment...I believe we will have cooler April and accordingly more snow ski conditions for whole April...
Current conditions now: 80 cm in Borovets (in the resorts on 1300 m.); Bansko - from 130 cm to 170 cm - except the peak Todorka around 200 cm and resort Bezbog - near Bansko - around 260 cm at the challet value..on the piste it is around 200 cm (in the town it is 13 degreece and it is real spring);
Pamporovo - around 90-100 in the resort to 140 on the highest place; very warm too in the resort - above 7 degreece...
Vitosha - from 150-160 cm on the challet Aleko to 200 cm to the highest pistes, and to 60-80 cm to the lower slopes...
Maliovitsa - around 100 cm.

Sunny Beach - 18 degreece the air temp, 8 degreece the water temp, very sunny, pleasent and romantic, ecpecially next month when begin the beautiful colourfull balkan spring here...enjoy it

One word: The Spring is already here in Bulgaria...Bad or Good...She is here and I think she will stay here for a long time...
