Arron - tell me this how feasabile do you think it is to travel from england for a long weekend ideally to plodiv where we would hire a drive a car and drive up to pamps? What airline are you travelling with from luton ?would consider going on a Fri - Tue if that possible with airline timetable - we have friends going at end of month would love to meet up with them when we dont have kids in tow!!! Here I am organising the next trip and I havent been on this one!!

Thats great! It's possible but probably not to Plovdiv as tour operators tend to fly into there, and the hols are usually for a week. We fly from Luton to Sofia. The drives ok and takes 3-3.5 hours. Car hire is cheap and the journey is very easy.

I say go for it. I will give you more details when you get there.
