re: Thomas Cook Airlines

fill the bag up to your limit 99% of airport dont ask whats in them , they are more concerned with weight , plus you paid for 10kg use it .......my borad bag is always full to burtsing , never been asked to open it or asked whats in it in over 40 plus trips , with all airlines at all airports.. if they get arsey ask for a manager and say your not moving it always works , cos they have deadlines and dont want fuss over a small thing

Thanks for the replies guys!

Last year we sort of cheated cos we paid for 2 ski carriages which gave us 20kg & had a big bag with just 1 pair of skis & lots of clothes in but think i will have to buy a smaller bag this year at least. Just been looking for a new one on ebay so hopefully will get one to suit.

Cheers & hope everyone has a good hols wherever your going Very Happy

Wouldn't like to think what would happen to the bindings if you didn't wrap something around them!

Exactly wheres me skis!!

I will still be putting something in with them even if its an old towel. If they make me take it out then I will get a signed letter from them stating that they made me so I can claim back from them if they get damaged.

People don't want to see me when I get angry I can tell you - not nice !!!

Very Happy

re: Thomas Cook Airlines

jim - no I go very red, stubborn & very very scary !!!

footfixer - don't really want to spend that sort of money on a 1 or 2 year thing, espcially when they're not even mine, they're my sons so he can do that in future if he's paying for it. That is when he's left college & got a f/t job !

Thanks anyway guys !! Very Happy
