We have just come back from Arinsal flying with Thomas cook and we have a board bag for 2 sets of ski's we do usually pay for 2xski carriage but this year they were charging £30.00 each so only paid for 1, We padded our bag out with ski suits like so may others on our plane and there were no issue's or people being stopped.
Hi Janet if your still reading this post, We are of to Canada the end of Feb with TC where are you going.
Just returned with Thomas Cook Airlines- before i flew i queried with the agents what was allowed - they confirmed does not matter what is in bag up to 10kg at a charge of £15.00.
I put 2 boards in 1 bag with a bit of padding etc., ended up weighing 10.9kg. They did not check it just put thru the usual x-ray machine. On the way back did not even weigh it !
Just been to Canada with T.Cook, no problems with weight of ski bag, packed everything including kitchen sink, never weighed and on the way back had an extra set of child skis in there as well. Boot bags were included with normalallowance though.
We fly from Manchester on the 27th to Calgary but staying at the Jasper Inn, This will be our first time in Canada and thought we would make the most of it and go for 2 weeks,
