We did not book with thomsonsfly but via RCI on a thomson flight. Will speak in the morning (probably before you get this message).

I rang Thomson Ski to see if they do flight only and they said they only sell off the flights that don't get sold with the packages.

Just out of curiosity how much was your flight?

There are flights available from Newcastle to Plovdiv, not with Thomson tho.

The flights were about 250 I think cos we booked them ages ago, whilst we are from the north east we were flying from Manchester but then the flights got changed to Gatwick and just decided to keep them as its better than flying with dan air (sorry balkan)

Have you had a bad experience with Balkan ? I've heard good and bad about them but heard they had a good safety record.

We flew with Thomson last week and had to be turned round and flew back due to a technical problem, which was very scary, especially when they landed too fast.

I've never flew with Balkan so can't comment about them, I've flew with Thomsonfly a few times and found the staff nice but didn't think the plane was very comfortable.

I've never flew with them either AA. However, knowing Markm as I do, he would not be happy flying in a plane even if it was built out of some indestructable material that had no way of crashing. He doesn't even own a car cos he "prefers to walk everywhere". God knows how he's still a fat knacker with all the walking he does.
