Just wondering if anybody out there who has already been to Pamporovo knows whether they do toboggoning there? Am going to Pamps with a couple of friends on the first of Feb, can't wait!!
Thanks for the info guys, I fly out mid afternoon from Gatwick on the Sunday the 1st, the brochure says it's a 4 hr transfer.....Pete, is that right?? Flying into Sofia by the way!
Cheers
Yes I'm afraid thats right Clare. You will travel for about 2 hours then stop for a McDonalds just outside Plovdiv. Then it's another 1 1/2 hours to Pamporovo. You may get lucky like we have and the flight will be changed to Plovdiv otherwise you just need to snuggle up until the lady says............
Ladys and Gentlemen we have arrived in the town of Pamporovo!!!!!!!!!!!
You will go ape when you arrive. No matter what time it is, find your way to the White Hart, all the gang will be ...

Hi Clare, I fly from Gatwick too, but on the Saturday, also to Sofia, I believe I am being transferred by car so I think it is quicker than by coach, I have been told the car transfer is about 3 hours!
YES --- There is tobogganing or sledging. This is my fourth time in Pamporovo and the first time we hired from the ski school, but after a couple of days we bought our own toboggans from the local shops between the Perelik and mourgavets. The cost was approx. 30 Leva.
We all have great fun adults and kids alike. You can also do Bum-boarding.
Hope this helps, have a wonderful time, as I know you will.
