Toddler Supplies

Hi Folks
Heading to Borovets 2nd Feb staying at Samokov - just wondered if anyone had picked up nappies/milk etc in resort or did you trail them out with you. Also an info on activities to keep a 17mth old amused for the week.
Thanks a bunch

re: Toddler Supplies

Take your own.

I would rather have a happy baby than a bag full of my clothes Wink

re: Toddler Supplies

Kez and jem,
If it is not possible to stop at the Billa supermarket on your way to borovets which is in samokov town .Located on the main rd from samokov to borovets, share a taxi and stock up on supplies. It will be worth the taxi fare and even more so if you share. The chemist in borovets has a limited supply and for the 17 month old you may run into probs with that size.
Are you using formula milk jem???

Hi Girls

Yes, we are back home. We had a great time except for my husband having a run in with a tree - but hey, that's another long story for another day!!! Great praise for the medical centre in Samakov Hotel.

There is a very, very small range of baby bits in the supermarkets in Boro, jars of food (6-9mths), baby rice etc. But be prepared to pay, I got some wipes & they cost 6.90lev. There weren't any nappies at all (despite earlier assurances that there are babies in Bulgaria!!!!) ...

There weren't any nappies at all (despite earlier assurances that there are babies in Bulgaria!!!!), I had some brought up from Samakov, again paid over the odds. If you have the space in your luggage just bring your own stuff, be sure to use your max hand luggage.

Tried the nursery in the Samakov hotel for 1/2 day. OK but I just didn't get a good feel for it. There were older kids there, they seemed to get on alright though.

Great time on the whole but it's just not really soo tiny tot friendly. Razz

Enjoy your trip. Only 350 more sleeps till we probably return!!!

Any questions, give me a shout
