re: Torrential snow heading to Pamps

It is going to be 1 or 2 days only. I can dedicate only 4 days for the whole trip split between the Boro and Pamp only.
I know it is going to be snowy (this season is perfect) and it will last well into end of april (maybe for Borovets only if temps go too high in the spring)
I rememmber skiing with groups on the 20th April after massive snowfall (in the mid 80s though).
Since then I think this is the one particular season to remember and witness(there is not going to be another one quite ...

re: Torrential snow heading to Pamps

As the snowfall we have had this year in Bulgaria was predicted by absolutely nobody - then how can you be so certain it will not happen again next year?

A bit like the '1 in 100' year floods experienced in Cumbria in 2008 (only to be repeated and exceeded in 2009)

re: Torrential snow heading to Pamps

Pete i am very offended by your comment and insist on an open apology, what have predictions got to do with the snow fall we have had!!! you know very well it was my snow dance, i practised all summer and obviously got it right this year but you fail to recognise my efforts. Shame on you, i am going to cry a river now and then drink myself into a state of forgetfulness. Have you ever tried Tia Maria with fresh orange juice? i call it Jaffa cake and it just tastes and smells like Jaffa cakes ...

re: Torrential snow heading to Pamps

The snow dumps have been well documented by Mark IOW throughout the winter and were backed up by the website I always use (Pamporovo weather.

PS. It is snowing again now and more to come tomorrow
