Hey guys, I have booked flights now, arriving to Sofia at noon 2nd of March 3 of us...is it better to go by a bus to Bansko, or easier to rent a car (21eur?)... Whats the price for a taxi to get to a bus station? Taxi drivers, they usually tend to rip you off...

The other thing to consider when going DIY is to ensure that you have good insurance - then if anything does go wrong, be prepared to pay for extra hotel accommodation etc on a credit card and claim it back on your insurance after the holiday.
DIY is slightly riskier but often gives greater flexibility - particularly on change over days. You are not restricted to Saturday change over and so can really benefit from the cheaper mid week flights.
