Trading Mobile Phones

Can anyone enlighten me on the situation of swapping mobile phones for ski equipment?????

Even some discount in return for an old phone gathering dust about the house would be good.

Can someone clarify or tell of their experiences???

Take care

re: Fussy

In my experience the ski shops tend to be quite fussy (last years contract phone would be perfect) we took 3 old phones and left them as a tip for the room maid
If anyone had any other experiences then please let Alan know.
Hope this helps

I took an old Nokia out last year and traded it for 3 camels, 2 goats and 3 sacks of flour! Very Happy

re: Trading Mobile Phones

I returned last Saturday and was offered a new set of skis and bindings in exchange for a mobile phone. I didn't have one with me so didn't take the guy up on it. It was from one of the ski hire places in Boro. I would say that if you have last years model, try your luck. I don't know how fussy they are.Good luck.

Whilst out there i swapped an old samsung i had for a few tequila, vodka & redbulls and an ashtray. The bar manager approached me and had asked if i had any mobiles for sale. One of our group sold his Nokia camera phone for 150 lev, he would have only got about £40 for it here. It was a pretty decent phone and our Bulgarian mate told us that people over there want the phones with cameras.

Another one of our group swapped 4 old (about 3/4 years) normal nokia phones for a snowboard, once again this was via our bulgarian mate.

Hope that helps.

re: Trading Mobile Phones

Just wanna add that obviously the better the phone, the better the deal you will get. You won't get something for nothing.
