Vaccinations Required?

Hi people,

Myself and a few friends should be venturing out to Borovets in January and I'd like to know if we need any vaccinations? Just done a quick google search and I'm in mixed messages as to what to do?

Anybody been/living here that could help me out?

Just got off the phone to my doctors surgery and they said I need a hepatitis a jab?

If your doctors says so then I cannot disagree - but I've travelled to Bulgaria over 40 times and never has my doctor ever recommended any vacinations nor anybody else I know of.

Looking on the web it does say that Hepitatis A is recommended for Bulgaria, but not compulsory. All the eastern european countries have the same recommendation.
First time I've seen that!

But the World Health Organisation site says that there are no vaccination requirements for international travellers to Bulgaria....

I went to the doc's this evening and got a hep a injection for free......!
