Hi folks,

What a season this is turning out to be as I have previously stated the weather has been really difficult to predict and to get it right because it has been changing every 6 hours and not really getting into a routine.

Things are looking a little more ‘settled’ in respect of the prediction data. Sunday will see temperatures rising, some more snow to come and things should warm up to around zero, yes warm up to zero or maybe +1C. The warm spell will last until Tuesday with some sunshine to come also.

By Tuesday evening, this is when the weather is going to change with a long period of snow until maybe Thursday and plummeting temperatures all week well into the weekend. For anyone heading out Tuesday or Wednesday, the road transfer could be a challenge.

Early indications are suggesting some good sunny weather, but well below freezing temperatures around next weekend (27th Jan)

I am so jealous of anyone heading out this week as it looks like it is going to be perfect. As for the longer range forecast, the general theme is very cold and snow. There seems to be no let-up in the ski weather….but is that not what it’s all about??
