What's the deepest recorded snow fall for pamps, or what memories do you have of the snow being really really deep in pamps ? has anyone ever whitnessed anything that was an out of the ordinary snow fall ?please give your examples........

A couple of years ago the fence that goes around the TV tower (which is taller than me - I'm 6ft) was completely covered and at the bottom where the single man chair lift crossess over you had to duck down to avoid being hit by those on the cair lift - hows that for a start?re: WHAT'S THE DEEPEST YOU KNOW

2005 early Feb had a great snowfall in Pamps, Locals I spoke to said it was the best snow they'd had for a long time. It was FABre: WHAT'S THE DEEPEST YOU KNOW
I know that fence, wow that's alot of snow !! just shows what can happen, how the hell do you ski when it's that deep ? i've only been to pamps once and that was this january so i've only seen the place with ice and hardly now snow, can you actually get out of the hotel door when it's that deep ?re: WHAT'S THE DEEPEST YOU KNOW
Tried walking from the 3 man up to the Lodge once and the snow was above head hight.Fantastic

Again wow........but when you try to ski on snow that deep wont you sink and get stuck ? (novice skier)re: WHAT'S THE DEEPEST YOU KNOW
It's compacted and groomed so no matter how deep it is you will be fine.Just don't ski off the piested runs.

they give you a flashing light to put on top of your hat so they know where you are to dig you out
