Benn, you joke about the cash machines, we were in Spain a couple of months ago, took no cash out with us apart from a few euros we had left as we always use the cash points out there. first ten mins into hols, went to cash point to take money out, it gave me a receipt saying I had taken out the money, but no money. then tried two other machines card would not work. tried another card linked to the same account again adviced to contact bank. called the bank, they had cancelled all my cards as they thought someone was trying to clear my account, the money from the first transaction had not been taken out of my account, which was a relief. Had to wait two days to get the cards set up again. luckly had another account with a small amount of money in and was able take that out. Things sometimes are just out of our control.

Yeah nice price too, cost a little under three grand now as it is a 25 year old vintage!! The Paul Weller gig was cool thanks!
On tour with Amy Wadge the end of this year so that will be awesome for me and the band.
It will be a hard year but fun!

@Sam - regarding the cashpoint thing mate its seems like a catch 22 regarding this Borovets place!
If I take cash I'll get it robbed or a shit exchange rate or If I use the cashpoint I run the risk of getting robbed on a cyber level! It does seem that this place is full of people trying to pull you trousers down.
You gotta love humanity!!

Dont worry though mate as will not leave the hotel without my trusty 3 foot samuri sword!

Spain has a higher rate of credit card and cash machine fraud, than any other european country, they just dont shout about the fact. Every tourist resort is the same, there are always people looking for you to be off guard. if you take cash use the safe, although in benidorm people have had money taken from the safe by hotel staff, who are quiet smart take a small amount regularly so you wonder if you took more out than you did or you blame your room mate for taking it. If you use cash machine do the same as you should here, make sure there are visable signs of tampering and cover your pin. Dont flash your cash when you have had a few and you should be fine. thieve look for easy targets and thats any where in the world not just BG.

I am sure your report when you return, will be excellent snow, friendly people, hotel food not so good, have a good one not long to go.
