Hi all, just read some worrying news about the weather in boro.. Said it was warm and the snow has melted!!! not good even on the upper slopes. i comin out on 7th feb for 1 week with my wife. does anyone know if it will be good for skiing then? or have been before at that time and can give me some positive info please??? It has been getting warmer here in the last couple of days but snow still good at the top of the gondola. Not so much on the Rila side. Do not fear.. word on the street is that snow is forecast from this Thurs so fingers crossed... Will try to update as and when!

We're there the week before you. Not worried my insider info tells me its fine on the top and more snow forcast this week,CHILL.

We went to Borovets years ago when there wsa limited snow...........
We had loads of kids who had great fun-
The resort was very much poorer then but the atmosphere was fun----great market all down the street,loads to do-go walking in the beautiful Rila Mountains-get on a horse in the village and ride up the mountains -----snow is on the way..........enjoy it for what it is.... the Bulgarians have had a hard time of it until recently--------get a bus and go out into the local ...

hi KITT- im pretty sure (as sure can be like!) that by the time you get out there will be decent snow- ignore the odd dissaster poster who is usually Mikey or the likes!re: WORRIED..........
