If you use the term - postno yadene - they will understand what you mean and it will be meat-free.

even easier ref vegetarian---vegetarianets (the G sound as in Good)---my wife is veggie so i know this works....also as a good back up just to be 100% sure---bez messo ee bez reeba (literal pronunciation--means without meat and without fish)
