I'm a Little loath to tell people about this, but here we go anyway.
Last year my cousin suggested we get some walkie talkies after seeing the mobile phone bills when we got home from the previous two years. after some humming and arrhhinng we bought four 8 channel radios. Now 8 channels isn't a lot, thats why I'm loath to spoil the secret, but they worked brilliantly. We had no problem talking between the top station and the resort in Borovets. They saved us a fortune in phone calls/text ...

They can also have the collar mounted microphone, which saves having to get your gloves off/stop and undress to speak to someone.

We also used them at night. We gave our daughter one when we were in the bar. If she needed anything, it saved her having to come and ask us. That alone was worth the money.Banknote

Could be great fun if everyone had them and all tuned to the same channel,
this is footfixer 10 - 10 we're gone good buddy.
PS they would be quite useful for letting everyone know where the mobile speed carmeras are on the slopes
