Washing T-shirts

Iron the Skia Thong stencilling direct with a hot iron BEFORE washing the first time. The stencilling woun't melt run or stick to the iron. If you don't iron it before you wash it fades a fair bit.

Wash in a normal wash, the colours haven't run on ours.

Afterwards, iron as normal, but not the 3D writing of any names, should you wish.

Glad you're all wearing them already.

Hopefully this won't disappear, like the last one I replied to!! Confused Confused

re: Washing T-shirts

Hello Night Muffy

We have some 3D fabric glitter paints that we are using to put peoples names/ screen names on the front. We are taking them with us, and will be in Boro from the 1st to 15th March, to label people up for a small fee for the fund. They are not stencilled, they are put on free hand in different colours so that they stand out on the shirts.

Does that help at all? Very Happy

Hi TD & Bibbleb0bs, just had a thought - should have had "The Last Ski-a-Thong T-Shirt" put on the front of my latest one but never mind. Looking forward to receiving it.

Have a good day - Andie (Twinkl) Ax Very Happy

re: Washing T-shirts

Hello Twinkle - it's now afternoon - thank God, my stomach thinks my throat has been cut. Monday's are bad for feeling hungry.

I am sure that you will outlive the t-shirt, and am already thinking about what we should do next year. Someone has already suggested name badges, Guiders collect fabric badges? Ski-A-Thing bobble hats? What "Orphanage Merchandise" would be easy to sell, buy, pack and post?

Back to proper work tomorrow Sad
