In 15 years of visiting the ski resorts of Bulgaria and glancing at weather forecasts, I have yet to see one that has been remotely accurate.
Reports like 30cms of snow disappear overnight and snow arrives when none is forecast.
I'll go back about 4 years when the lead-up to my holiday was grim. Reports from the 'experts' said the snow was not good and conditions were stated as no better than fair.

If you need to follow anybody, listen to Benson as he has proved over many times to be very accurate in his reports.
But as for the websites - nahh - just ignore them because they are naff.
I know what you mean Pete. When I was in Momchil/Pamps the forecast was for light flurries and we ended up with about 2.5 feet of snow in Momchil. It was beautiful. My first winter in BG.
Its funny how its snowed loads the last week & yet the snow cover report still shows 90cm. It looks a lot deeper this week than last.
