Weather-struggling

Been a while folks--sorry--not too clever at the mo in BG, and will stay mild at least until later in the weekend, so it looks like the lower levels (at least) will deteriorate. Later in weekend into early next week will turn colder with some snow--but I cannot say it will last as it may well turn milder again after that for a while. Not the best outlook at the moment, but if it shows any signs of great stuff be assured I will let you know.

Plenty of the white stuff forecast for Thurs / Fri this week in North UK - a great chance to get your 'ski-fix' !

4 years ago was in Pamps this time of year and, after a few lean days, there was absolute, monumental dump of snow overnight - if anyone was there at the same time - remember the 6 foot drifts and 5 foot icicles!!!

The first time we went was Feb 2006 - the only time we've ever seen snow at Plovdiv airport. WE didn't know about this site then and assumed that, as Pamps was a ski resort, there would be snow. There was. Loads of it.

u can see from webcam tho 2009 aint nothin like 2006 bloody global warming

Don't be despondant. We always go half term week. Last year the reports on here were awful - and when we got there the snow at the top was good. As the week went on it got better ... and the last day we were there it was awesome

Update--still looking as though will turn colder in second half weekend with some snow. Will then stay 'cooler' (not very cold-but better than this last few days). Looks like more snow around weds next week, and again the following weekend. As is often the case though, between any snow it will turn a little milder with some low level thaw. Timing cannot be precise but al least looks better.
