up to yesterday, there were no signs of winter coming apart of the afternoon of heavy snow on Wed pm which came to just few CMs and lasted until next day.In Sofia there after it was nice autumn weather:crisp mornings and nice days.
Old Locals in Samokov area saying that this season will be warmer than last but as with any predictions it is all for grabs.
Flew over the Alps Sat and snow levels there already down to a healthy 1300m and the peaks looked all good -thick and already enough for the start of season.Pleasure to look at and seeing ski runs all white and villages in snow.the whole lenght of the Alps was snowy.
We can only hope for a weather swing into the Balkans but who knows when.

Weather forecast for the week ahead is for nothing major.
A little drop in temps and rain in Thu but return of stable weather over Bulgaria towards the end of the week.
Further ahead -pure guess !
Hoping and praying for a solid start at least from mid Dec
because before that there in nothing happening and nothing will work anyway so at least for me these weeks are ocupied with: keep fit and get ready for the winter.
The winter will inevitably come somehow and sometime.
The tricky bit is to coinside with your pre-paid holiday.
