He he !, i had this same dilema, imo cram in as much as possible, cos u pay extra for it, and they hardly gonna complain about a heavy board !, as no limit is told.
Usually the hand luggage is around 5Kg and has to fit into a certain size case. In the past i have always taken the heavy good out when i get to the airport and put them in carrier bags. They sometimes weight the hand luggage, but never the carrier bags. then put the goods back in the case once on the plane. I use to put the goods in the case after checking in, until oneday i got caught and my case got checked as i boarded the plane.
we got charged per board. told them 2 boards, neglected to mention the other board, three pairs of board boots, one pair of snow boots, sallopets, etc, etc........

we have already paid £15 carriage for bag - they shouldn't be able to charge us any more should they?
It's quite a weight - 2 boards, bindings, boots (boyfs boots are like their own entity) and pants etc - we should be okay????
