We all know that the target to replace the heating system in the Stoikite Orphanage is 30,000 Euros, but you may not be aware of what that is in Sterling.

At today's exchange rate it equates to £22,738.75 so with what we have raised between us to date we are already 1/4 of the way there. I will be on BBC Radio Swindon on Saturday morning and will make an appeal for a container truck to transport all the offers of clothing etc. to Bulgaria.

But we can't stop now - and for any of the money to serve it's purpose we must get to our target. I can't ask any more from you guys, but I am hoping we can continue on the Summer Board which will start to get busy around May time.

Possibly a silly question but gonna ask it anyhow can't look any sillier 2nite. Is this amount including paying someone to install the system as well as buying it.

When I was at Michelle's last week we were talking to a group of irish guys who are heating engineers and plumbers and suchlike and they volunteered to go over for a week in the summer to help with the installation. I am waiting for them to contact me about this but maybe this could cut the cost a little and mean we get there quicker.

Me and Michelle volunteered to be labourers ....that would be a laugh in itself.
