What do you want

Hi all.

Would be quite interested in what people would like to see in the way of restaurants, bars, and general facilities in their ski resort of choice. Personally i would like a decent Indian restaurant, a cheap bar where you could chill without having your ears welded to your head by the music and order simple snacks with your drinks, and a 24hr walk in laundrette that could cope with ski wear.
Perhaps it will upset the BG purists but it would be interesting to get some feedback... ...

Have a think, Steve C Booze

re: What do you want

am with you on the nice chill out bar without the loud music mate, of course with lovely buxom waitresses would be even better

On the fantasy list side a good Indian and chinese would be great as much as I like Bulgarian food it does get a bit samey by the end of the week.

Ultimate luxury would be a Gordon Ramsay restaurant at Bulgarian prices now that would be good!

re: What do you want

How about a decent supermarket!!! All them self catering apartments and there are a couple of piddling little corner shops. The one at the bottom of the town is too far away!

Also how about a nice bakery near the Gondola so you can get fresh bread and crosisants etc etc

Also (on a roll now) a coffee shop.

Lastly a refuse collection service so that the bins are emptied once during the winter season.

And (this is lastly) a dog catcher !!!

re: What do you want

How about a few people who go round and de-ice and sweep the snow off the pavements and walkways. Those pavements are leathal during the winter!!

re: What do you want

I think a relaxing, soft sofa, coffee room with an area for children to play, watch videos while parents chill out and discuss the heroics of the day. Also selling pastries to refuel for the evening activities.

Mmmmm, a few good suggestions in there...

I can report after a long conversation with Evo that the Crown Pub, just being finished and virtually next door to the Tamplier will run an apres ski type session from 3pm every day with live music, drink promotions, and simple meals like pizza, burgers, etc as well as main menu...
The bar will have pool tables, a first i think for Bansko in a bar, and still extend the old Sir Gals welcome...
He is trying to get the girls back who worked for him ...

He is trying to get the girls back who worked for him before, but im sure whoever he gets will be motivated by him and happy. He has also stated that this new bar will remain open all year, good news for the summer....
