Looking at Google earth i found what looked like a small ski resort in the Rila's , it is north facing and looks a bit like panichiste. However it's further south and there are no lakes at the top. I tried to paste in an image though it wouldn't do

Ideally this site should make and use up to date piste maps for every resort. So again, what's the name of this resort and what types of Pistes and lifts has it got?

Well, a number of hours later some more research has shown me that this ski area is Kartala ski resort. And apparently as well as a number of drags it has a gondola up to the top of its run and a small hotel area called Bodrost. However there is nothing on this website about it despite having a brand new gondola lift, one of only 4 in bulgaria. To whoever runs Bulgaria ski website.Try and keep things up to date.

This is a site established to sell ski holidays at four resorts therefore if they don't sell ski holidays at your Kartala resort there seems little logic in them including it (one run is hardly going to be a big draw after all). But it was nice of you to inform us so the rest of us locals can follow up. Perhaps you would be gracious enough to follow up with a review if you do eventually go there?re: What resort is this?
Well I go to Bansko but it was only a fluke that i found this resort on Google earth. But it's bigger and much more modern than places like Kulinoto, yet it seems that Bulgaria Ski aren't bothered. I'm only thinking on how this site could help Bulgaria tourism. If you thing about a tourist wanting peace and quiet but reasonable skiing Kartala would be good as well as being close to Blagvoegrad. It is just lazy to ignore a resort.re: What resort is this?
Maybe you need to take a course in business studies James.As it has been already stated, this site was set up by BulgariaSki with the intention of selling properties and holidays. To make it more popular they added a discussion board.
Now you want them to advertise areas that they have no financial interest in?
That's not being lazy - it's common sense!
