What to do ?

Going to Bansko on Saturday - that's only three days away and there's no snow - BUGGER !!
I guess I'm going to be drinking rather than learning to ski then !!

Apart from sitting in a bar is there anything I can do around Bansko in the event of there being no snow - which is looking increasingly likely

well Borovets is not so far from Bansko, and there you can practice on the piste for beginers at least...
Mate your booked your reservation too early for the season

Yeah I know - there's always a risk right at the season.
It's a shame though - I was looking forward to learning to ski

So don't worry Frankie. I think that with the snow cannons the little pistes will be opened for sure. And this is more than enough to learn how to ski !!!

But why don't you learn snowboard instead ?? You will have better sensations !!

Snowboard - tried that in Poland a couple of years ago - kept falling over, my arse still hasn't forgiven me !!

Well you will just feel more free with a board, it s the opinion of all my friends around me. Most of them were skiers then I made them discover snowboard and I can tell you that they even removed the word "ski" from their vocabulary...
