Neck gaiters you can get in most of the outdoor shops - snow and rock do the single layer one as do Oddies

I take the opportunity to wear those really in your face jumpers, lots of colors and very little taste.

In the bars I am fine in just a jumper. There is the dilema of between bars as the only coat i take is my chunky ski jacket. i find that there is a cold interlude between warm bars. Many of the bars have an open fire in them. The coldest night I was there was minus 14 and you could feel the cold air all the way to the bottom of your lungs. I also carry spare gloves as I've seen how long it takes to get them back when someone drops a glove from a chair lift.

loads of good advice, i was just going to take my scarf, but do you reckon the neck warmer is more practical.
I dropped a pole from ski lift last year in italy, first time skiing and not good at jugglings skis poles glove and taking in amazing view, hold on to your bits tight on those lifts. .... Lucky for meeee a kind person who could even stand on his ski's returned my pole by the time i got of the lift... Thankyou ski god!xxx
