Not a great deal actually, between the Royal Plaza and Iglika Hotel there used to be some small chalets, theyre now gone and its going to be more apartments, works well under way, at least it will tidy that area up when its finished. What used to be 'Peters Bar' on the corner opposite the Gondola entrance has now had a make over and is now called "revolution' that will be a busy place, situated on the corner. There is a new 'Greek' hotel called Ahilles, i think it means Achilles!!! anyway they have a new restaurant, and its a Greek Taverna specialising in fish dishes, this is opposite the 'Happy Duck'
On the runs side the new resevoir for the snow cannons (fingers crossed if weather stays ok they will be ready this year) makes skiing from Yastrebets 3 to the Yastrebets chair lift a bit interesting!!!! maybe it will freeze over pictures will appear on 'the other side' the chair lift at the top on Marky 2 is ready and so are the snow cannon bases on 1,2 and 3. Theres also been a selection of widening and gradient levelling between Makry 1 and 2 down the road.
The webcams from the chalet will be working after this weekend on the other side, and have been revamped, so more continual video than stills, also a new camera is coming watch this space, or rather the space on the other side!! by the way yesterday the temp was 21c in samokov, oh also forget, the new ice rink is in obviously just waiting for the temps to drop a bit
