re: Wheat Bags

I thought that might have been the case!

If you send the cut fabric I'll sew a few together then back to you to fill and close?

Happy to help if you need it XXX

re: Wheat Bags

Filling and closing will cost more in postage... Could you and BG work on the loose covers in brushed cotton/fleece/ cuddly fabrics? Then we can take them over separate - without posting around in the UK. 30 each? I'll post with the finished dimensions later? So many sewers!! Very Happy TD xx

She uses a varity of materials but always asks for a small sample of anything new and uses this test:
Place in microwave on full power for 60 seconds. If the material bursts into flame it is not safe. Not very scientific I know but it works for us. - not once in three years/several hundred wheat bags has anyone come back to report a problem.

re: Wheat Bags

TD, I have a sewing machine and I'm a dab hand at it.

Can you let me know what material to use, size required etc. and I'll make some.

Are fleecy blankets any good? might be cheaper to buy some and cut them up.

Just been looking at going back to Pamps on 8th March for a week (whoo hooo!) so could take some over with me.
