When is it going to snow???

Last March was the first time I have skied in Bulgaria. My question is when does it usually start snowing and the ski season start?

In general it snows from here on in mate,but the main stay comes from mid dec on,or late dec last year.

The ski seasons starts the week before xmas and goes till mid march if your lucky. Iguess that depends on which resort you go to...

start of the season is december in all of the 3 BG resort .Another matter if the snow is there to greet you .the later you traqvel the better the snow.March April looks the best for white stuff.before that is hit and miss

Looks like there was a little sprinkle in Borovets last night. Yastrebets runs deffo have snow on them and there are signs of a little bit of snow in the village. Very Happy

thanks, do they have any webcams on the slopes apart from the one on this site? last year we were in Bansko and we watched webcams for weeks before that were on the slopes and updated every few mins.

the only other one that i know of (other that n the one on here) is of the observatory at the top of Moussala peak. Looks nice and white up there as well.
