It's crazy the images that people who have never been there have of the place.

Been putting up with comments like that for 12 years. Suits me fine, it's our little corner of the world that we all love.

Dont need the lager louts and Benidorm mob there, just nice people who want to enjoy a great holiday.

I do get some odd looks, like I didnt know they had snow there. Mostly people reply with, "oh yeah, its cheap there isnt it!"
Well I dont care what they think. It hasnt been spoiled yet by being over touristy. Which suits we fine. I dont want 18-30 club holdays there. The scenery is too beautiful for those morons.

Dito to all the above who love Bulgaria. I'm off for my 3rd year in January and I can't wait.... I nearly pee my pants with excitement when the group of 11 of us that are going get together and chat about it.

I get the same response when people ask where we are going... the funny face as if to say.. WHAT???!!?

It's ace and I too am sooooo glad that it isn't over run by too many tourists. Theres just a great bunch of people who go out there and that suits me fine.
