Where do you buy your equipment from??

Hi
This is myself and partners first time skiing, going to Pamps on 8th February, we don't have any equipment, and wondered if any of you had come across any recent bargains either on-line or in the York-Leeds area.
Ive also seen on the discussion board that it is sometimes cheaper to purchase the gear in the resort, does this include goggles and all the accessories etc. I don't want to arrive there with 1 pair of socks and a Thermal vest and hope Very Happy

As has already been said, Aldi have some cheap stuff, Makro if you have a card, and also ebay.. I have picked up some good quality second hand stuff from there goggles etc... Or have you thought about hiring for the first time clothes that is, at least you will know that they fit before you go.

Just have a nose around the net for ski shops near you I am sure you will find something

re: Where do you buy your equipment from??

there are three shops in Pamp. opposite the White heart is a chemist, the shops start to the right of the chemist, underneath the hotel. we got boots from the first shop on the left after the chemist and saved about £60 per pair. this one shop sells everything you could need. hats down to skis.
if wed have known about this shop we wouldnt of bought ski clothes in UK.
the shops here are open till atleast 9:00pm (inc. christmas day)

hope this helps

re: Where do you buy your equipment from??

Try skiwear4less.co.uk - they're not bad. If you have a TK Maxx near you, they've got some really good bargains - just bought new ski jacket for £17. Can't go wrong with that - and if I do, I'll just have to get a new one when I get there.

Off to Pamps in 22 days and also again in 390 days!!!
