Hey thanks everyone. Will confer with my travelling companion. We are advanced skiiers, into back country etc. But I'm picking we will be a bit skiied out by then and will be looking forward to European-style apres ski after Iran rather than hard-core skiing. So looks like Bansko or Boro....We are there 15-19 Feb. Hopefully not half term. Interesting passes cheaper at weekend than during the week - other way around here in NZ.

Unfortunately UK half-term is 11th to 18th Feb so it will be absolutely packed out..If you choose Bansko, Nightmuffy / Steve C organise run transfers from Sofia to Bansko so contact them for help - as before if Boro, there are lots of regulars who can help out.

I am sure you will have great fun wherever you go!

Thanks. Unfortunately we can't do much about the dates.
And everywhere in Eurpoe will be crowded so the alternatives won't be much better. Hopefully everyone staying home with the recession

Iran good luck!! guess its not the best time to be going there as it wont be long till they feel the sharp end of american oil grabbing oops sorry foreign policy!!
