Which resort??

Which resort is better, Borovets or Bansko? I'm booking a holiday and need to know which one to choose!

I havent been to Bansko but have heard good reports and i will probably go there next yaer to check it out. Have been to both Pamps and Borovets and i prefer Borovets which is why i keep going back and back and will be there in Jan and ich kann nicht warten Very Happy

I've never been to Borovets but Bansko has a very modern and efficient lift system and the village is really nice with hundreds of local mehanas (taverns) serving great food

definatly bansko beacuse the town isnt purpose built and mnay of the facilities are newer

Bansko if you are a competent skier - Borovets if you're not.

you need to advise people who ask - the worst resort that way the best ones will not get over crowded Very Happy

Bansko is fine, apart from the odd wolf carrying off children, and there is no truth in the rumour that the Mafia intend to hold their annual conference there throughout the season.
