With all of this snow we've had did any one ski or board at home, If I had skis here I would have as there are some great hill in wales.

We went toboganning in the New Forest and on the hill in Lyndhurst a lad and his girlfriend were snowboarding!

Yep, I got out a 20 year old pair of cross country skis, like 'back in the day' a very dark side for a snowboarder, had a blast in Wales.

I was able to do a bit of Skiing on Monday in Oldham Lancs,I didn't thing much of the grooming of the slopes! In fact I don't think a Piste Basher had been anywhere near them.
Also prices have gone up considerably since last year, Nearly £3 per pint in the local bar!

I skied to work on Thursday approx 4.5miles. I was knackered. Took snowboards up the local coal tip on monday. I've waxed the skis today tried them out on the road in our estate, now I'm ready to go down some major mendip hills tomorrow.

Had a crack at Swinhope Ski Slope in Durham - 4 pistes, 8 foot of snow to piste with - WOOHOO!! Looks like it will last until Sunday!!!Happy happy happy!

Both my sons age 13 & 8 snowboarded yesterday in West Bridgford, Nottingham!!!! Good for next week!!!!
